Community
Port Alberni has been a great place to live my childhood and to raise my own family. Having worked for Woodward's since High School, in 1990 with my next move in my career there meant moving off the island most likely, I opted for a career change which allowed me to remain where I call home. The Community with a Heart has so many great attributes that we, who live here take for granted. Below is just a few worthwhile links about our valley, from Maclean's Mill Historic site, the steam train to take you there and of course the Valley's precious Mars Bombers!
